Aaron Eisberg started in the classroom by focusing on small groups, projects, accountability and inquiry learning. As elementary teacher he developed and taught curriculum using best practices sparking student curiosity and sustaining inquiry that led to high student achievement. Aaron currently works as a Learning Coordinator for a non-profit Centers for Excellence at New Technology High School in Napa California. He builds capacity for his staff and other stakeholders around high quality authentic implementation of project based learning. He organizes and coordinate professional development and study tours for New Technology High School. He also serves as a National Faculty member for the Buck Institute for Education. As a National Faculty member, he provides professional development on how to design, assess, manage, scaffold and differentiate projects that engage and motivate students to be successful learners.
Aaron also works with to provide P21's two-day onsite 4Cs Workshop equipping K-12 teachers with the skills and knowledge needed to develop, teach and assess the 4Cs for all learners. Providing a highly interactive workshop uses the P21Framework as its foundation and harnesses best practices gathered from national network of Exemplar schools. He provides a PBL friendly workshop that introduces teachers to the research that supports the 4Cs, engages them in technology, protocols, and activities that develop the 4Cs, and gives them hands-on practice designing lessons, projects, and assessments that embed the 4Cs into classroom practice.
Aaron received a B.S. degree in Natural Science from Loyola Marymount University and a Masters Degree in Education from Indiana University Bloomington. Aaron is currently working as the Academic Specialist for Napa Valley Unified School District. As an Academic Specialist, he serves as a teacher-leader, coach, data analyst, and professional developer in the district.
